Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 450?F.
- In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, salt, and sugar and mix until dissolved.
- Transfer hot cooked rice into a medium bowl and mix in the rice seasoning liquid with a rice paddle.
- Transfer seasoned rice to a lightly greased baking dish and pack it down with a wet rice paddle. Sprinkle furikake on top.
Crab Mixture
- In a large bowl, combine shredded imitation crab meat with Japanese mayo and cream cheese.
- Spread crab mixture evenly on top of the rice and pack it in. Sprinkle remaining furikake on top.
Baking
- In a small bowl, mix Japanese mayo and sriracha to create a spicy mayo. Drizzle it over the crab layer.
- Bake uncovered for 15 minutes, then broil for 1 minute. Cover with aluminum foil if needed.
Serving
- Garnish with green onions and slice into pieces. Serve warm with nori and cucumber.
